Project Overview
The existing iron roof on this farm accommodation in Matamata had rusted over time and was due for replacement. BRS carried out a complete iron-to-iron re-roof, removing and disposing of the old roofing and associated flashings before installing a new long-run metal roofing system.
The replacement roof features 0.40 BMT Corrugate COLORSTEEL in New Denim Blue, providing a fresh finish for the farm accommodation. New roofing underlay was installed, along with all necessary flashings, including ridge, barge, valley and backtray flashings to roof penetrations. As part of the installation, blue 80mm screw fixings were installed at all purlin-to-rafter junctions.
The straightforward project was completed in just over one week, including a final site clean-up and removal of all roofing debris.
